Committees

Potomac Station offers a variety of committees that residents may volunteer for.  Committees are part of the lifeblood of our community and provide residents with opportunities to meet their neighbors and give back.  Resident participation is critical to the success of every committee and can help the Board tackle issues, provide advice, and address community matters.  We currently have two required committees per our Bylaws (Article 7), the Covenants Committee and the Elections Committee.  Additionally, we also have an Events, Communications, Pool, Open Space, and Finance committee.  With interest, additional committees may be established to meet the community’s needs.

Each committee comprises at least 3 residents, of whom one is the Chair.  Each committee is assigned a Board liaison to provide information to and from the Board and to ensure that committees comply with the rules and regulations set forth in their charters and governing documents.
