Potomac Station Open Space Committee

The Potomac Station Open Space Committee is dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and protecting the natural and landscaped common areas throughout the Potomac Station community. The committee works to ensure that our open spaces remain safe, attractive, and environmentally responsible for the enjoyment of all residents.

Comprised of volunteer homeowners in good standing, the committee collaborates with the Board of Directors, management, and landscaping contractors to review maintenance practices, recommend improvements, and help plan future enhancements to common areas. This may include evaluating tree care, playground areas, walking paths, stormwater management areas, native plantings, and general landscape aesthetics.

The Open Space Committee also serves as a resource for residents by:

  • Identifying opportunities for beautification and environmental stewardship

  • Providing input on landscape upgrades and capital improvement projects

  • Supporting sustainable practices and responsible land use

  • Monitoring the condition of common grounds and reporting concerns

Through thoughtful planning and active involvement, the Open Space Committee helps maintain the natural beauty and long-term value of Potomac Station’s shared spaces, contributing to the overall quality of life in the community.
